Barn Conversion

In 2007 they were the main contractors in the conversion of a Grade II listed Barn, plus outbuildings, in Berkhamstead. We were involved in the internal packages here, but due to the protected listing of the barn, and the insistence of English Heritages that no gypsum plasters were to be used on the barn, all our works were with traditional lime mortars.

Our operatives had all been trained by Ty-Maw Lime Limited, a traditional lime mortar manufacturer in Wales, and had no problem in achieving finishes that were even beyond the aspirations of English Heritage.
