Between March and November 2022 we installed over 6,500m2 of unbonded screed to a new Hotel in Londons Mayfair.
A traditional sand and cement screed was installed, with a Mapie additive to aid drying times. All the materials were pumped up from the ground floor, as the logistics made using ready-mix an impossibility. A big thank you to our material supplier, MP Moran and Sons, for the ‘just-in-time sand bags deliveries here.
All screeds were laid over an 8mm Regupol sound matt, and installed with a maximum 1mm tolerance, to allow for furniture and door sets that couldn’t be adjusted
